Kathryn Rose
Professor Kathryn Rose is a leading international researcher on the development of vision and refractive errors in children and adolescents. She works collaboratively with a number of national and international research groups, in particular the Center for Vision Research, University of Sydney, where she has brought a personal emphasis to research in refractive errors, particularly the development of myopia (nearsightedness), and the vision screening of children, prevention and evidence-based practice in eye health care. She has had continued support of these areas of interest and has published over 50 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
